Step-by-Step Guide to Redeeming Customer Loyalty Points

1. Add a Customer to the Order

To redeem loyalty points, first, ensure the customer is added to the order. Learn how to add a customer to an order.

2. Proceed to the Payment Page

After adding items to the cart, navigate to the payment page to redeem loyalty points.

3. Redeem Points

On the payment page, locate the “Redeem Points” button. Next to this button, you’ll see the customer’s total loyalty point balance.
  • Click on the “Redeem Points” button to open the redemption dialog.
  • Enter the number of points the customer wishes to redeem.
  • Submit the entry to apply the points to the order.

4. Discount Applied

Once submitted, the redeemed points will appear in the Discount section at the bottom of the cart and will also be printed on the receipt in the Discount section. The total payable amount will adjust accordingly.

Tips for Redeeming Points

  • Ensure the customer has enough loyalty points before proceeding with the redemption.
  • In the redemption dialog, you can either enter the desired number of points or select Redeem All:
    • If the loyalty points balance is less than the total payable amount, the system will apply all available points.
    • If the loyalty points balance exceeds the total payable amount, the system will only redeem points equivalent to the total payable amount.
